Moved to a House

After spending about 6 months in a one bedroom apartment, we finally decided that we needed more space for Eddie and Oliver. The apartment we lived in was ok, but not very pet friendly. They have dedicated building that allows pets but hardly any grassy area to walk them. We initially chose this place because we needed something fast and this place has availability and allows large dogs. Now we decided that the place is not enough for us and we needed to find a bigger place.

We found a small house for rent in Mundelein area with a backyard, walking distance to a small lake and there is a park very close by where we can take the dogs for a walk or play. It's available almost immediately and allows large dogs, which can be a challenge in finding a house to rent. So we made the move (again :) ) to this house about a month ago and we are definitely happier now :)

The backyard is rather 'rough', it needs more grasses and currently it's not completely fenced in. The property manager said they will put the back side of the fence which is currently missing, but that has not happened just yet. The park nearby is really nice and we love walking them there. A lot of grasses with a small paved path that does not allow any motorized vehicles so we don't have to worry about dogs getting run over. Oliver enjoys having more space in this 3 bedroom house, he loves going up and down the stairs, chasing his ball all over the place :)
